Time to Scrap the Cap on Social Security Taxes!
Currently, the Social Security tax cap for 2025 is set at $176,100. This means that if someone earns more than this amount, they only pay Social Security taxes on the first $176,100 of their income. For instance, if someone earns $10 million, they only pay taxes on $176,100, leaving a staggering $9,823,900 completely untaxed for Social Security.
And people earning $20 MILLION are taxed using the same cap!
This creates an unfair system where high earners contribute a much lower percentage of their income to Social Security taxes compared to those with lower incomes. While the rich keep getting richer, income inequality has risen to such an extent that it has cost the Social Security Trust Fund an estimated $1.4 trillion.The solution is obvious. It's time to scrap the cap and ensuring that the rich pay their fair share!
By doing so, we could extend the solvency of Social Security for the next 75 years without raising taxes on 93% of American households. It's time to take action!

For decades, the age to receive full Social Security benefits has been gradually increasing, with proposals to raise it even further.
However, we believe it's time to return to the original retirement age of 65.
Why This Matters:
